Live In Care - Types of Care

TrewCare provides 24 hour live-in care

TrewCare carers are trained to provide differing levels of personal care, to meet individual needs. This may include assistance with:-

  • Getting up / going to bed / use of hoists and transfer aids.
  • Washing.
  • Dressing.
  • Bathing / showering.
  • Feeding.
  • Toileting.
  • Continence management.
  • Skin care / pressure area management.
  • Medication.
  • Eye and ear drops.
  • Oral hygiene.
  • Catheter and colostomy care.
  • Oxygen.
  • Prompting with daily tasks.
  • Supervision of those with lowered cognitive ability e.g. dementia.

TrewCare carers may also provide help with household duties. These include:

  • Shopping.
  • Cooking .
  • Laundry.
  • General housework.
  • Pet care.
  • Housekeeping - assistance with payment of bills, general. correspondence and arranging household maintenance.
