We consider the training and recruitment of carers as being extremely important. Our clients rely on us to provide them with carers they can trust so that they can relax in the knowledge that they are in safe hands.

All our carers are selected extremely carefully, interviewed, their references and working records checked. Criminal Record Bureau, Protection of Vulnerable Adult and the Children’s Register Enhanced Disclosures are obtained. The first three months of employment are a probationary period, in order to assess the suitability of the carer.

We consider our carers to be special people, who are chosen for their adaptability, integrity, reliability, compassion, flexibility and dedication with the common sense and skills required to provide high quality care for our clients.

Prior to commencing working with us, all carers undergo a three day induction training programme which meets the requirements of the Governments’ Skills for Care Common Induction Standards.

Sally Pine, our Training Manager has many years experience as a training Programme Manager, Co-ordinator, and NVQ Assessor and Verifier. She has recently joined us from Truro College where she was a Programme Manager and is now in charge of our ‘in house’ training.

Would you like to join the TrewCare family? We a always interested to hear from hard caring, dedicated, flexible individuals who are looking for a rewarding and interesting career in the care industry. Become Part of TrewCare…
